A few years ago now, our college decided to try to increase the college brand and help departments manage their websites by adopting a content management system called Mura. Prior to the switch, I managed the MSU Neuroscience Program website with dreamweaver and wrote all my own html and (some) jquery code. I loved having full control over the site, so I was a little concerned about moving over to a new system with little back end control. But Mura has opened up a lot of great features, and most importantly, allows non-web coders to assist in content creation.

I’ve been working with Mura for so long now, that it just seems like second nature, and I am quite happy with the results: MSU Neuroscience Program website
